PSVR 2 is one of the most popular VR headsets around, offering incredible visuals, haptic feedback, and a surprisingly robust library of games. One of the biggest drawbacks to the headset is its price–clocking in at $600, it’s not exactly cheap. However, Dell is offering a free $100 gift card with your purchase right now, making it a bit more affordable to add PSVR 2 to your game room.
$600
Your purchase includes not just the PSVR 2 headset, but also Horizon Call of the Mountain and additional accessories (such as the PSVR 2 Sense controller, stereo headphones, and three pairs of earpieces). The main attraction is the $100 Dell eGift Card, which can be used towards the purchase of anything in the Dell catalog–including PS5 games, laptops, monitors, or other electronics.
Considering PSVR 2 has rarely seen a price cut since launching in February, this offer is arguably one of the better deals we’ve seen for the headset. Horizon Call of the Mountain is also one of the best games available on the device, as it uses unique climbing and combat mechanics to tell the story of Ryas, a member of the Shadow Carja who breaks out of prison and tries to unravel a new mystery about the machines inhabiting their world.
Our Horizon Call of the Mountain review gave it a 7 out of 10, knocking it for being less innovative than expected, but praising it for great visuals and characters. It’s a similar story for the PSVR 2 headset, which our PSVR 2 review found to have a “high-quality build and premium feel,” but is still looking for a game that makes full use of its potential.
It’s unclear how much longer this Dell deal will stick around, so be sure to check it out while you can. Depending on where you live, it’s possible to have the headset arrive within a week.
